25.04.2019 – Report from the meeting with employers

On 11.04.2019, in the Polish-German Centre for European Youth in Olsztyn a meeting with employers and foreign workers employed on the Polish labour market took place. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship Office, who introduced the participants to the procedure of legalising the stay of foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Poland and the conditions for obtaining a work permit by a foreigner. The employees of the Information and Advisory Point presented the activities implemented within the framework of the project for migrants and employers of foreigners. Employers, on the other hand, had the opportunity to present working conditions in their companies and current job offers.

Cultural consultants presented their experience of working in Poland from the perspective of a foreigner and the advantages and disadvantages of conducting their own business.

The participants of the meeting also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences and to enjoy a multicultural treat.

Before the meeting, the participants of the project together with a professional advisor took part in the Career Fair organised by the City Labour Office in Olsztyn.
