Current project activities (April 2021):

„Integration support system for foreigners staying on the territory of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship” co-financed from the National Program of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and state budget carried out by Caritas Poland since May 1 2020 is approaching its end. The Assistance Centre is open until the end of this May.

Despite many restrictions related to the pandemic, the office is open and provides assistance to migrants from Monday to Thursday from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. To make the centre operational, a hybrid system has been applied, which means that beneficiaries are handled both directly at the office as well as online.

By reporting their willingness to take part in the project, migrants can obtain assistance of the integration advisor, vocational advisor and a lawyer. Beneficiaries of the project can obtain living and housing support, that is, a package with sanitary products, funds for medicine or simple medical procedures, funds for renting a flat. We are planning to finish the current adaptive courses and Polish language classes at the end of May, so migrants can still take part in those courses. We are also currently carrying out antidiscrimination workshops and cultural events. Due to the pandemic, the workshops and courses are being conducted online. However, if the pandemic conditions allow, we want to organize trips and feasts to enable integration and to discover beautiful places of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship together.

We’d like to invite all migrants to consider our offer and take part in the project!
